أقيمت في محافظة واسط ورشة توعوية بعنوان

((دور المواطنين ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني في استرداد عائدات الفساد))

التي ينظمها البرنامج الانمائي للأمم المتحدة UNDPفي العراق
بإدارة المدرب نجم العتابي  وقد  شارك بالورشة مشاركين من مختلف شرائح المجتمع المحلي (اعضا ء منظمات مجتمع مدني + اعلامين +شباب + شيوخ دين +شيوخ عشائر ) وأيضا قد شارك بالدورة اعضاء من مجلس محافظة واسط ومنهم رئيس اللجنة الامنية بالمحافظة الحاج صاحب ومستشار المحافظ الاستاذ ضياء الطائي وقد عرض بعض المشاركين مسرحية حول الفساد في مؤسسات الدولة  الغرض من الورشة (( رفع وعي المجتمع بأهمية استرداد عائدات الفساد والعمل على اتخاذ خطوات عملية حول ذلك ))وتم بالورشة عرض تقرير هيئة النزاهة لعام 2014وحسب هذا التقرير بين لنا مايلي

•         ملفات استرداد المتهمين الهاربين خارج العراق

•         بلغ العدد الاجمالي لملفات استرداد المتهمين الهاربين الجاهزة  لعام 2012-2013/   ( 34)  ملف

•         بلغ العدد الاجمالي لملفات استرداد المتهمين الهاربين لعام 2014( 338) ملفاً

•         وان الاموال المراد استردادها ب(دينار العراقي) هو (( 1,014,114,487,500)) تريليون وأربعة عشر مليار ومائة وأربعة عشر مليونا وأربعمائة وسبعة وثمانون الف وخمسمائة دينار

•         والأموال المستردة هي(( مليارين وسبعمائة وستة وثمانون الف ومائة الف وأربعون دينار عراقي ))

Apply for a Jacob Foundation Research Fellowship

A Global Fellowship Program for Research on Child and Youth Development

The Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship Program is the only internationally open, competitive fellowship program for early and mid-career researchers focusing on child and youth development.

Fellowships are awarded to the most highly talented and innovative young scholars and mid-career researchers working on child and youth development.

Funds from Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowships are awarded directly to the Fellow’s institution and may be used over a three-year period by the Fellow to partially cover the Fellow’s salary and for any activity supporting the Fellow’s research, such as assistant salaries, equipment, technical assistance, professional travel, or trainee support.

Independent and Competitive Funding: two Fellowship Categories

Fellows are selected on the basis of their research accomplishments, creativity, and potential to become leaders in the scientific community through their contributions to the field of child and youth development. International relevance of the fellow’s planned work, the alignment of planned projects with the goals of the Jacobs Foundation, and the willingness to identify with our aims and to engage actively with us will also be selection criteria.

A Unique Interdisciplinary Network of Scholars Working on Child and Youth Development

Besides providing Fellows with independent and competitive funding, the program offers a wide range of non-financial benefits. Fellows are encouraged to interact with each other and make use of the Jacobs Foundation’s Conference Center Marbach Castle at Lake Constance (Germany) for short-term group residencies and workshops. Networking and alumni events will enrich the fellowships.

Call for Applications 2015 – How to Apply

The following documents must be submitted online in one PDF document until 15 April 2015 for an eligible candidate to be considered for a Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship:

• A letter from a department head or other senior researcher supporting the candidate and describing his or her qualifications, initiative, and research;
• The candidate’s curriculum vitae including a list of the candidate’s scientific publications;
• A two-page statement by the candidate describing his or her significant scientific work and immediate research plans.

After review of preliminary applications, a selected number of candidates will be asked to submit a detailed application until 15 July 2015. Candidates will be interviewed via Skype in September 2015, and selected candidates will be notified in November 2015.

Please submit the requested documents using the online application form (online application form). Incomplete applications and applications not submitted via the online application form will not be considered.

Building Young Activists’ Leadership Skills 

The World Youth Movement for Democracy and the International Forum for Democratic Studies at the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) invite you to apply for the Hurford Youth Fellows Program in Washington, DC. Youth leaders from around the world will be considered for two positions throughout the year. For a period of four months, each fellow will have the opportunity to build his or her leadership and organizational skills and benefit from and contribute to the development of the World Youth Movement.

Central to each fellowship will be an assignment to develop online discussion platforms that would generate active engagement of World Youth Movement members.  Each fellow will organize and lead a series of online discussions and information sharing on a key democracy issue that the fellow, in consultation with the Secretariat and Leadership Board, would identify. Youth Movement Fellows will identify, compile, present, and creatively share discussion materials and results.

Youth leaders up to the age of 30 with a demonstrated interest in the advancement of democracy are welcome to apply; particularly those affiliated with democracy/civil society organizations are especially encouraged. A monthly cost of living stipend and roundtrip airfare will be provided by the Program.

Call for Applications: Additional Support to the Health Partnership Community – Round 2

THET is pleased to announce a call for applications for additional Health Partnership Project grants

The grants form part of the Health Partnership Scheme (HPS), which is a six-year programme that funds health partnerships to carry out training and capacity-building projects in low- and middle-income countries. The Scheme is funded by the UK Department for International Development and managed by THET.

This funding opportunity is to offer a further round of additional support to the health partnership community. It is intended to fund projects strengthening the capacity of the developing country’s health services. All those considering applying should carefully read the eligibility and funding criteria contained in the Grant Overview as these differ from those in previous grant streams.

All established health partnerships are welcome to apply.

 **Core Eligibility**

The core requirements for the Additional

 Support to the Health Partnership Community – Round 2 grants are:

• Grant recipients are eligible institutions (see Grant Overview)
• Applications must be made by established Health Partnerships
• Projects must be operating within low- or middle-income countries
• Letters of support from each institution must be submitted along with the application

 Funding Available

There are two tiers of funding:

A - £10,000-£99,999

B - £100,000-£200,000

 Pre-application webinar

Applicants are invited to attend a pre-application webinar that will run through

the application process and project planning. The webinar will be held on two

 occasions: the first is scheduled to take place on Friday 27th February and

 the second on Tuesday 3rd March, from 12 to 1:30pm GMT.

 Medical equipment grant application webinar

 A further webinar will be held on Monday 2nd March from 12 to 1:30pm GMT

 specifically for medical equipment grant applicants, who are invited to apply

 within this grant stream. Such grants would be those that focus on strengthening equipment

 maintenance and management capacity, rather than the provision of medical equipment.

We ask that relevant applicants register for this webinar in place of the above pre-application webinar

Funding will be allocated by THET following:

1. Submission of a project outline and letters of support
2. First selection group meeting (shortlisting)
3. Meeting with THET HPS Team to further develop project

5. Final selection group meeting
6. Awards made against defined criteria
